3 years ago, this is what I thought.

Now this is what I think...
  1. You don't want to keep doing 1 + 1 = 2
  2. You don't want to keep doing 1 - 1 = 0
  3. You don't want to keep doing 1 * 1 = 1
  4. You don't want to keep doing 1/1 = 1

But the incident really brings the expectation of BCP (Business Continuity Planning) to a lower level.

We could spend all our time testing on business continuity process (BCP) or draw a line somewhere. Our BCP is in line with international practice,” Chief information officer Yew Kim Keong said.

OK to Fail Actually...

So, it is okay for systems to fail now. Just make sure your support team is there lah!!

Increase Tech Support Budget ...

BCP budget should be cut while tech support budget should be increased. The industry must recognize this very fact.
