Tiny Evolta Robot Competes in Triathlon

The Evolta robot (hand-sized toylike robot) by Panasonic, powered by merely just three rechargeable AA-batteries, will swim, bicycle and run for a total of approximately 143 miles.

It is going to compete in Hawaii's gruelling Ironman Triathlon course.

It has garnered a few significant achievements under its belt such as:

1.) In 2008, an it climbed 1,739 feet up the Grand Canyon in under seven hours.

2.) It also broke the Guinness world record for the greatest distance travelled by a remote-controlled car by completing the Le Mans race in 2009.

3.) The tiny robot proved its endurance once more by walking 310 miles from Tokyo to the old Japanese capital of Kyoto in 2010.
