InfoWatch Closes 2014, Shares Data Leakage Prevention Predictions for 2015

InfoWatch, a global market leader in Data Leakage Prevention (DLP) solutions, closed 2014 on a high note in Malaysia, securing three new customers including a large Malaysian telecommunications company, while 15 more on-going pilot projects have received positive responses from prospects.

In a media statement, Ms Natalya Kaspersky, CEO, stated that the problem of spying over electronic devices and unauthorized gathering of user information in favor of specific states will remain an unresolved issue, and the focus on by on mobile devices.

Mr Renga Nathan, Regional Head, InfoWatch Asia Pacific, shared that the global predictions for the data leakage prevention segment is that there will be more breaches, more leaks, and more data siphoned off for unauthorised use through internal and external sources, and through an increasing number of devices.

InfoWatch leveraged on the implementation of Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) to secure contract with public agencies.
