Jul 5, 2018 - Common Ground partners with child enrichment centre Curious Child

Malaysia’s coworking industry leader Common Ground today announced its partnership with child enrichment centre Curious Child as it opened its fifth Klang Valley venue. Curious Child opens its first venue next to Common Ground Ara Damansara

At present, there are not many office spaces that provide childcare facilities or services which causes women to give up one’s career in order to care for one’s children. Seizing this opportunity, Common Ground’s latest partnership with Curious Child is aimed at providing the support needed by working mothers who struggle to manage the demands of both one’s professional career and domestic responsibilities.

The child enrichment centre offers a multitude of services including infant care, enrichment programs, prep school programs and the “drop and work” program.

Jul 5, 2018 - VMware Lays Out New Network Vision to Accelerate Malaysia’s Digital Adoption

VMware, Inc. (NYSE: VMW) launched the Virtual Cloud Network, a new network approach that will empower businesses in Malaysia to achieve their digital transformation goals by unlocking value from today’s networking technologies amidst an increasingly complex environment.

With applications and data now residing everywhere, companies can no longer rely solely on a hardware-based network deployed inside their data center to run their business. With a Virtual Cloud Network, businesses will be able to create an end-to-end software-based network architecture that can deliver services to applications and data irregardless of wherever they are located.

The Virtual Cloud Network will be able to operate at global scale from edge-to-edge and deliver consistent, pervasive connectivity and intrinsic security for apps and data that is also independent of underlying physical infrastructure or location.

The VMware NSX networking and security portfolio includes:
  • VMware NSX Data Center, one of the industry’s most widely deployed network virtualization platform for the enterprise data center, adopted by more than 4,500 customers globally.
  • VMware NSX SD-WAN by VeloCloud, the industry-leading Software-Defined Wide Area Networking solution that combines the economics and flexibility of the best real-time network overlay with the deployment speed, scale and automation of cloud-delivered services.
  • VMware NSX Cloud provides consistent networking and security for applications running in both private VMware-based data centers and natively in public clouds.
  • VMware NSX Hybrid Connect enables customers to solve one of the biggest challenges with hybrid cloud– consistent networking.

Jul 4, 2018 - ThreatMetrix Summer ’18 Release Extends Product Offerings to Support 3DS 2.0 Risk Decisions and Adds Champion Challenger Capability

ThreatMetrix®, A LexisNexis® Risk Solutions Company, today announced the Summer ’18 Release, which includes latest product innovations such as a new 3D Secure 2.0 offering and Champion Challenger capabilities:
  • ThreatMetrix 3DS 2.0 Solution for Enhanced Risk Decisioning
New risk engine API has been launched specifically to support 3DS 2.0 environments. 3DS 2.0 speeds up authentication and improves security by enabling merchants and issuers to exchange more data, (such as device, channel, identity and transaction information), to verify a cardholder’s identity in registration flows and to ensure that the true card holder is performing the transaction. The new solution will also enable enhanced payment authorization decisions with no additional user input, even when it is the first time that user has interacted with 3DS 2.0, allowing friction-free experience.
  • ThreatMetrix Champion Challenger
The ThreatMetrix Champion Challenger is a new feature to help risk analysts and policy editors run a new or modified “challenger” policy alongside a live “champion” policy. Risk analysts and policy editors often have little evidence to know in advance whether policy changes will enhance or diminish fraud detection. ThreatMetrix Champion Challenger removes speculation and risk associated with policy changes by enabling policy editors to test the effectiveness of new capabilities and understand the impact of policy changes before deploying them into an active environment.
