Jul 5, 2019 - NTT and A.S.O. continue to transform and revolutionize the fan experience of the Tour de France with new technology deal

NTT (NTT Ltd.), a newly launched, world-leading global technology services provider and Amaury Sport Organisation (A.S.O.), the organizer of the Tour de France, have renewed their partnership until 2024, which was initiated by Dimension Data in 2015. The extension of this agreement enables NTT to continue providing innovations to both enhance the viewing experience and attract an entirely new generation of digitally savvy fans.

Five years into the partnership, NTT and A.S.O. have led the way in the use of advanced technology in cycling, demonstrating how the use of data can truly revolutionize the sport’s fan experience. This paves the way for NTT to use its expertise to digitize other areas of sport such as connected stadiums and velodromes.

For example, the Enhanced TV Graphics feature will enrich the international television broadcast with new graphics including data insights from NTT’s live data team, and 3D mapping of the live race situation.

Jul 3, 2019 - Kaspersky extends cooperation with INTERPOL in joint fight against cybercrime

Kaspersky, a global cybersecurity company, and INTERPOL have signed a new five-year agreement to reinforce their collaboration in the fight against cybercrime around the world. This is the second agreement between the two parties following the first signed in 2014.

On July 3, Eugene Kaspersky, CEO of Kaspersky, and Tim Morris, Executive Director of Police Service at INTERPOL, signed a contribution agreement under which Kaspersky will provide human resources support, training, and threat intelligence data on the latest cybercriminal activities to INTERPOL, strengthening the organization’s cyberthreat hunting capabilities. The signing ceremony took place at INTERPOL World 2019, which is currently underway in Singapore.

This cooperation strengthens the existing relationship between the two organizations, ensuring information and technology sharing can support INTERPOL in cybercrime-related investigations. Within the new agreement, Kaspersky will share information about its cyberthreat research and provide the necessary tools to assist with full digital forensics, aimed at strengthening efforts on the prevention of cyberattacks.

Jul 3, 2019 - HappyFresh Rebrands Targeting Millennial Shoppers

HappyFresh has rebranded targeting millennial shoppers with an online grocery experience where the quality of personally handpicked grocery experience will be second to none.

This is in line with its new brand purpose ‘Freshly Handpicked’, new logo, together with a new brand mascot - Apple Boy.

With the rebrand, biodegradable plastic bags will be what HappyFresh uses for deliveries. The move will start in Indonesia first, then Malaysia and Thailand by year-end.

David Lim, VP, Marketing, HappyFresh, said that the new brand provides a crucial interface for retailers to capture the generation of shoppers – the millennials - who have a higher demand for quality and service especially being aware of their health.
