Dec 12, 2018 - DXC Technology Announces Additional Analytics Migration Factory Locations in the Philippines and Poland

DXC Technology today announced the opening of two additional DXC Analytics Migration Factory locations in Manila, Philippines, and Warsaw, Poland. The new centers will provide clients with an efficient, end-to-end experience to accelerate the migration of data and analytics environments to Microsoft Azure. DXC professionals in Manila and Warsaw will also be investing in training and certification to enhance their skills in data science, cloud architecture, solution design and deployment on Azure.

DXC launched its first Analytics Migration Factory for Microsoft Azure in Bangalore, India, in September 2018. The DXC Analytics Migration Factory employs DXC Bionix™, the company’s secure digital-generation services delivery model that provides a comprehensive approach to intelligent automation at scale. Dec 10, 2018 - Microsoft Malaysia partners with MIMOS to establish AI and IOT Schools in Malaysia and launches “A Cloud for Global Good in Asia”

The Minister of International Trade and Industry, YB Datuk Darell Leiking today witnessed the exchange of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the AI Development between Microsoft Malaysia and MIMOS Berhad (MIMOS), signifying the establishment of the Microsoft Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet Of Things (IOT) Schools in Malaysia. As a result of this MoU:
  • A joint lab equipped with Microsoft’s IOT and AI programs, providing access to development tools for learning purposes will be set up in MIMOS
  • Workshops such as the ‘Hands on Lab on Internet of Things’ and ‘Artificial Intelligence’ will be conducted to help train young entrepreneurs and graduates to properly leverage IOT and AI
The event also saw the launch of Microsoft’s publication, “A Cloud for Global Good in Asia”, a policy book developed by Microsoft that offers recommendations for governments, industry and civil society. It’s launch today marks the book’s first entry into the region.
