Adobe Systems Appoints Ashley Wearne Managing Director, South East Asia


Wearne will spearhead growth for Adobe in the region

KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA –May 8, 2008 - — Adobe Systems today announced that Ashley Wearne, has been appointed Managing Director for South East Asia, Adobe Systems Pte Ltd., effective immediately.

Based in Singapore, Wearne will spearhead the development and growth of Adobe’s business in the region and further strengthen the relationships between its customer and partner communities.

“Wearne’s broad and extensive experience in the IT industry will be of great value to Adobe as we continue to pursue growth opportunities in the region,” said Julian Quinn, Vice President for Asia Pacific, Adobe Systems Pte Ltd.

Prior to joining Adobe, Wearne was the Vice President for Australia, New Zealand, South East Asia and India for McAfee. In that position, he was responsible for growing McAfee’s customer base and developing partnerships and business alliances.

His wealth of experience in the IT industry spans more than 20 years and includes senior management positions in general management, channel management, corporate marketing and sales management for Novell, Unisys and Burroughs. Wearne holds a degree in Economics from The Flinders University of South Australia.
