By Ken Myers

This easy to create USB charger uses solar power to charge your phone or other device on the go! Inexpensive and easy to make, it only takes a few parts to create your own portable solar powered USB charger. The total cost for the parts should be less than $30, and can get even lower if you have some parts on hand or can buy wholesale. All it takes to put this device together is a little electrical knowledge and a steady hand.
