Motorola Moto G Review

1.) The body frame looks better than iPhone 4 and Samsung Galaxy S plus.

Moto G is the biggest amongst most of them all.

2.) I like the virtual keypad - it feels even better when you enable each key touch to be associated with vibration.

3.) Android to android migration is seamless.

Literally hassle free when you migrate from one Android based phone to Moto G - it comes with wizard based first-time configuration dialogs.

4.) Camera flash - good enough.

QR Code scanning also works well.


5.) Moto G as a phone ???

Not bad - phone conversation gives me less 'headache' than other phones.

6.) Same charger as Samsung's phone - totally love it.

7.) Instant mute button - press and hold the start up button - power off menu will be displayed.

9.) Waze App & GPS both function well.

10.)  GUI looks better than iOS 7 - I really think so.

11.) Battery consumption

Using 3G connection whole day, the battery is able to last for 1 day 3 hours 40 minutes 36 seconds with 22% remaining.

In other words, it means that by having 3G enabled for 1 day 3 hours 40 minutes 36 seconds with basic usage, you are still left with 22% of remaining battery power.

12.) The always-on virtual navigation buttons

The default back, home, last accessed apps buttons are great - total control.

13.) As a smartphone, is great because we are all very Google dependent - calendar, gmail, search, contacts, drive, maps and etc.

14.) The built-in data meter is a blessing.

I love this phone - it is a first class smartphone with entry level price tag.
