Unable to Perform Magnetic Encoding using cardPresso ?
First of all, make sure your card printer has been fitted with the magnetic encoder module
Secondly, make sure you are able to perform magnetic encoding through the printer's driver.
Goto
Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Devices and Printers\
Printing Preferences\Tools\Magnetic Encoding\Encoding settings
Perform a test encoding - for more information.
If this works, then it means the card printer is working fine, the problem lies with cardPresso software.
Start cardPresso software.
Open the card template.
Goto
File\Print Settings
Make sure the 'Printer' is selected properly - select the printer that is currently online or connected.
Then, If you are using Evolis printer (i.e Evolis Pebble4), make sure 'Print Options\Magnetic Encode\Macros' is selected as 'Evolis' - by default, it is set as 'User-defined'.
This should work.
