When a bookmark is added to Google Chrome, by default, it will be added under the bookmark toolbar which will result in button-click bookmark loaded beneath the Menu Bar.

Click add bookmarks button - the 'star' button
Add under 'Bookmarks Toolbar' folder

Add a new bookmark, select the folder as 'Bookmarks Bar' |

Click the button-click bookmark to load the bookmark page |
Button-click bookmark is helpful to people who are less IT efficient - i.e for your mom to load the favourite YouTube's channels.
Firefox
Nonetheless, bookmark toolbar does not come default with Firefox - it has to be enabled explicitly.
