Feb 27, 2019 - Tapway Launches an Artificial Intelligence-based Vehicle Tracking Solution

Tapway, an emerging end-to-end tracking solutions provider today has launched VehicleTrack, an artificial intelligence (AI)-based solution that enables organizations to keep track of vehicles to gain a better understanding of their physical locations.

Using data extracted from video cameras, VehicleTrack can provide reports on traffic flow, vehicle count, vehicle classifications, vehicle types, license plates, vehicle entry and exit patterns, and others. The solution has many benefits including helping organizations improve security at their locations, manage car parks more efficiently, set priority access to vehicles of VIPs, monitor traffic, and other purposes depending on where the solution is deployed. VehicleTrack is now undergoing a pilot test at a shopping mall, a school, and a highway.

The key target customers for VehicleTrack are commercial buildings, shopping malls, public or private car parks, smart cities, gated communities, and highway operators.

Lim Chee How, CEO of Tapway said Tapway’s expertise is in the development of tracking solutions since 2014, therefore, the vehicle tracking is a natural progression for the company's product development.

Feb 27, 2019 - Sophos to Offer Customers Smarter Mobile Device Management with Microsoft Intune Integration

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) and the technology company Continental announced a new blockchain-based data monetisation platform, expected to be available in 2019, for sharing vehicle data to enable new digital services that improve driver safety and convenience.

At the same time, the platform will help car manufacturers monetise their data and differentiate their brands. Based on blockchain technology, the platform provides data sovereignty, security, transparency, and efficiency to overcome the barriers of sharing vehicle data.

Feb 25, 2019 - Huawei Launches Huawei MateBook 13 and 14 Globally

At the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018, HUAWEI introduced the HUAWEI MateBook X Pro, the first-ever FullView notebook. Feb 25, 2019 - San Francisco - Sterlite Tech becomes O-RAN Alliance Contributor to build Near Real Time Controllers for 5G

Sterlite Tech , a global data network solutions company, will be contributing to the O-RAN Alliance, a global carrier-led consortium that promotes software-based, extensible Radio Access Network (RAN).

Building on a foundation of virtualised network elements and standardised interfaces that fully embrace higher levels of embedded intelligence and openness, Sterlite Tech will contribute to and leverage reference designs developed by the O-RAN Alliance, such as their open-source code to build a near real-time controller and distributed units, with white box hardware.

The launches range from serverless computing, data analytics, global networking, high performance storage, and enterprise database that let customers easily and reliably derive actionable business insight to thrive in the age of intelligent business.
