SAS Global Forum 2019: SAS helps businesses put analytics in action

SAS, a leader in analytics, today announced that its latest SAS® Platform release aims to accelerate analytics adoption for everyone. The new platform will help businesses and data scientists put analytics in action by automating complex tasks while making analytics and AI more accessible to users of all skill levels. Building on SAS’ recently announced $1 billion investment to drive software innovation and AI adoption globally, the updated SAS® Platform delivers additional innovation in AI for a wide array of applications.

The announcement was made at SAS Global Forum 2019, the world’s largest analytics conference event, happening now in Dallas Texas. The event also saw leading organizations sharing successful stories of how they have leveraged advanced analytics to advance their business:
  • Citi has partnered with EY and SAS for its NextGen project, using artificial intelligence (AI) to develop an advanced risk analytics scoring engine. NextGen was created to help streamline the time-consuming, highly manual processes associated with reviewing high volumes of global trade transactions while ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • The world’s largest food manufacturer, Nestlé, has embedded SAS® Analytics into key business processes that will help it sense demand for its consumer goods more accurately and reliably on a global basis.
  • Ulbrich Stainless Steel & Specialty Metals chose SAS® Analytics for IoT to analyze the data created by its plant sensors, staying ahead of maintenance and production challenges that keep precision metals rolling out of its plants on time.
In efforts to recognize global partner innovation and collaboration, SAS also announced the winners of its annual Partner Awards ceremony held at SAS® Global Forum.
