Digi Wishes Malaysian Happy Deepavali 2020 - Hope and Courage

Digi brings the message of hope and courage to celebrate this year’s festival of lights.

Depicting the true meaning of this festivity where light and faith overcome darkness and despair, the video ‘Villalan’ or Archer was inspired by the true story of paralympic S. Suresh, Malaysia’s first world champion in para-archery. Told through a whimsical fairytale animation, the video shows how Suresh’s fighting spirit pushed him to persevere through the hardship and challenges that he has faced from a young age to make our nation shine on the international stage. His story proves that no matter who you are and what challenge you are facing; you can find the courage within to rise and inspire those around you.

Through this video we want to remind everyone that we can all be heroes in our own way and that it is in the darkest times that our true strength is defined."
