Jun 28, 2018 - Maxis introduces Zerolution plan for OPPO R15 Pro

OPPO’s telco partner, Maxis is offering more valuable R15 Pro plan packages to benefit Maxis users. Starting from 28 June 2018, users will be able to get the OPPO R15 Pro by subscribing to Maxis Zerolution for RM46 per month with zero upfront payment, on top of the MaxisONE 188 Plan (subject to terms and conditions).



Jun 28, 2018 - Oracle extends Cloud-based Warehouse Management to Give Customers Enhanced Logistics Performance and Global Inventory Visibility

Oracle announced the extension of their Oracle Warehouse Management (WMS) Cloud capabilities. The latest improvements include yard management, enhanced solution extensibility, and integrations to their Inventory Management Cloud, enabling increased logistics performance and global inventory visibility.

Legacy transportation and warehouse management systems are often unable to provide insight into trailers in the yard, which creates a significant gap into visibility that can lead to fulfillment delays. Oracle WMS Cloud yard management capabilities directly address this challenge, making it easier to locate shipments in trailers in order to expedite unloading for high priority inventory.

Jun 28, 2018 - Kaspersky Lab Opens first Transparency Center

The Global Transparency Initiative, announced in October 2017, reflects Kaspersky Lab’s ongoing commitment to assuring the integrity and trustworthiness of its products.

As part of its Global Transparency Initiative, Kaspersky Lab is adapting its infrastructure to move a number of core processes from Russia to Switzerland. This includes customer data storage and processing for most regions, as well as software assembly, including threat detection updates. To ensure full transparency and integrity, Kaspersky Lab is arranging for this activity to be supervised by an independent third party, also based in Switzerland.

Malaysia’s second largest smartphone brand, today announced a new system update that enables customers to enjoy ultimate smartphone experience that is reflective of HUAWEI’s mobile engineering.



The system update of EMUI 8.0 is able to predict one’s intentions, and provide recommendation to the functions you need. Jun 27, 2018 - Digital Innovation Inspires 55% Increase in Tour De France Second Screen Audience

Amaury Sport Organisation (A.S.O.), the organiser of the Tour de France, has partnered with Dimension Data since 2015 to help engage a new generation of young fans. Aged between 18 and 35, they now make up 73% of the Tour de France’s 6.5 million-strong social media audience.

Jun 26, 2018 - Her Majesty The Queen presents Award to young people from Malaysia dedicated to changing the world

Her Majesty The Queen has today presented Siva Nagappan Visvesvaran and Wen Shin Chia from Malaysia with a Queen’s Young Leaders Award at a special ceremony at Buckingham Palace, London, in honour of the work they are doing to transform lives in their community. The Queen was joined at the Award ceremony by Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex in recognising their success.

The Queen’s Young Leaders Awards programme, now in its fourth and final year, celebrates the achievements of some of the most exciting young change-makers from across the Commonwealth. This year’s cohort from 38 Commonwealth countries are finding solutions to global issues such as climate change, food scarcity, gender-based violence, mental health, and access to education.


The now complete Queen’s Young Leaders network forms a unique, dedicated and powerful group of young people from 53 Commonwealth countries who will connect, collaborate and change lives together for years to come. To further support them in their future endeavours, a £200,000 Legacy Fund has been created. It will be open to all 240 Queen’s Young Leaders and 282 highly commended runners-up to apply for grants that will help elevate their work and enable them to work together to tackle some of the most pressing issues facing the Commonwealth.
